Abstract: Junping Wang and Xiu Ye proposed a weak Galerkin mixed finite element method which achieves the separated optimal order of convergence. Based on the classical mixed finite element, the BDM element, Jianye Wang of Peking University proposed another weak Galerkin mixed finite element method. The method achieves the classical, combined optimal order of convergence, two orders lower than that of Wang-Ye's elements. We will discuss these two elements and other possible elements.
