In this talk I will briefly introduce the general relativity theory and Einstein equations. Then I will go through the numerical techniques used by current numerical relativity community. Along with the current numerical techniques, unsolved problems in numerical relativity will be presented. Finally I will mention the urgent issues of numerical relativity from the respect of astrophysics
